My name is Heather de Gruyther and all pieces are designed and handmade in my home studio in Gloucestershire, UK. I am a metal clay artist, working predominately with fine (999) silver to produce pieces inspired by nature and the surronding countryside. I am fascinated with trees and plants and love to capture some of the unpredictability of nature in my designs.
Capture the fingerprints of your loved ones in silver forever! Every fingerprint is unique, and every piece is handcrafted from start to finish so that you receive a treasurable keepsake to wear forever. An impression of the fingerprint is taken into putty which I then transfer to the silver in your chosen design - for more information on the process please get in touch. If you have a different design in mind then please don't hesitate to ask.
My maker's mark is registered at the Birmingham Assay Office and is applied to all jewellery in line with current legislation. Most of my pieces are unhallmarked due to being below the weight requring a hallmark by law - any hallmarked pieces are clearly labelled as such in the item desciption. If having your smaller pieces of jewellery hallmarked is important to you then I am happy to arrange this for an additional fee (please note that this will also cause a delay in receiving your order whilst the piece is sent away to the assay office).
